The apartment is located in the very heart of Milan and presents wide door-windows opening to a lodge that faces a private and intimate garden. The building is part of a well-know complex built in the Seventies, as the original windows with anodised aluminium (now no longer in production) testify. Luigi Caccia Dominioni’s black lacquer doors and steel lighting frames have been kept in their original context in order to protect and maintain the original architectural identity of the space. 
White resin floors and walls have been inserted in the project with the aim to emphasise the preciousness of all the more ancient element together with the new contemporary choices that help in living the space into inner and outer volumes.
